The Devil’s Box String Band (founded 2011) has played hundreds of performances in the last seven years, producing powerful, passionate, soulful Fiddle-driven Bluegrass, Folk, Blues, Irish, and Gypsy music.

           Performing anywhere as a 2 to 8-piece band, they are inspired equally by traditional masters such as Bill Monroe, Lester Flatt, Earl Scruggs and Alison Krause.  They also perform music inspired by Jam Band, New Grass Indie-Folk phenomenon Mumford & Sons, Old Crow Medicine Show,

The String Cheese Incident, Green Sky Bluegrass and The Grateful Dead.

The group focuses on fun, joyous, musical events that feature irresistible 2/4 Stomps, fiery Fiddle Tunes, Bluegrass Soul singing, gorgeous Folk-Rock Fiddle jams, Gospel inspired harmony, Jam Band grooves with improvisations,

Blues, Moans, and grease.
