His music has been influenced by Irish Folk Music, Film Noir music, 70’s singer/songwriters as well as Jazz masters Miles Davis and Chet Baker, pre-war acoustic Blues legends Blind Willie and Robert Johnson; writers Charles Bukowski, Raymond Carver, and eclectic American Roots masters Ry Cooder, David Lindley, and David Grisman.
Chris is currently the Artistic Director, principal Violinist of The Teahouse Music Company, and the Dean Emeritus of
The Black Tree Music School in Santa Monica, CA.
